Baked goods are fragile in ways that ordinary retail products are not. Buttercream smudges if it touches a lid, glazes stick to card, and a tall layered cake can tip if the base slides around. A good bakery box gives the bake enough headroom, a firm floor and a way to lift it out without fingers going into the frosting.

That is why the range is organised by what you bake rather than by box style alone. Celebration cakes need deep boxes with a board inside, cupcakes need holes that hold each case upright, and loaf cakes travel best in a snug sleeve. For anything decorated, a window lets the customer admire the work without opening the lid, and bakery boxes with a clear window suit counter displays, where the bake does the selling.

Cupcakes, Cookies and Small Treats

Cupcake boxes come with inserts in single, four, six, twelve and larger formats, so each cake stays in its own space on the drive home. The insert can be printed or left plain, and it lifts out so the box can be reused. For gifting, a mixed box of cupcakes and cookies can share a box with a split insert.

Cookies, brownies and biscotti are flatter and sturdier, so they suit shallow boxes, sleeves and paper bags. Biscuit bakers often pair a printed sleeve with a plain tray inside, which keeps the cost down while still showing off the brand. If you sell by the half dozen, a printed cookie sleeve around a stack is quick to pack and easy to display.

Bread, Pastries and Speciality Bakes

Bread and viennoiserie need to breathe. Paper bags and open-ended sleeves let steam escape so crusts stay crisp, which is why we suggest them for loaves, baguettes and croissants rather than a fully closed carton. Pastry boxes with a lift-up lid suit Danish, choux and tarts, and dividers stop delicate pieces from touching.

Speciality bakes have their own shapes. Panettone needs a tall square box, mooncakes and baklava sit in trays with individual cavities, and churros or waffles travel in open-topped cartons that let the sugar coating stay dry. Handles, Windows and Finishes

A carry handle makes a larger order easier to take home, especially for a full cake or a box of twelve cupcakes. Gable-style boxes have a built-in handle, while standard cake boxes can have a punched handle added to the top. Windows can be added to almost any style and are cut to the shape you choose.

Most bakeries print one or two inks on white or kraft board, often a simple logo and a line about where to find them. Full colour suits patterned designs and photographs, and a matt or gloss finish is available on request.
