Custom Biscotti Boxes
Custom biscotti boxes are long, slim cartons that keep twice-baked almond biscuits standing in tidy rows, with a window to show them off. We make them for bakeries, delis and coffee shops that sell biscotti at the counter, in gift packs and alongside coffee.

A Box Shaped Like the Biscuit
Biscotti are long, narrow and crisp. They are baked as a log, sliced on the diagonal and baked again, which leaves them dry and firm but brittle at the ends. A standard square cookie box wastes most of its space on them, and a loose bag lets them knock together until the tips break off.
A biscotti box follows the shape of the biscuit. It is long and slim, with just enough width for one, two or three rows, and a height that matches the biscotti's standing or lying position. Packed tightly, the biscuits support each other and arrive whole. That fit is what makes a biscotti box look generous on the shelf without leaving empty space inside.
Getting the shape right also helps with display. A row of slim boxes standing upright next to the coffee machine takes up very little counter space, and the narrow front panel is the perfect size for a logo and flavour name. Square boxes, by contrast, tend to get pushed to the back of a crowded counter.
Styles for Counter and Gift Sales
A long tuck end box with a window on the front is the classic counter pack. It stands upright or lies flat, shows the biscotti through the window and closes neatly. A sleeve and tray suits gift packs: the biscotti sit in a tray and a printed sleeve slides over, which feels more like a present. A gable box with a handle works well for mixed selections taken to a dinner party.
For coffee shops selling a single biscotti with a drink, a small flow wrap or a slim single-piece carton keeps each biscuit clean and branded. A display carton on the counter holds a row of singles where customers can grab one at the till.

Measuring Biscotti for the Right Box
Measure a typical biscotti from tip to tip and its width at the widest point. Because they are sliced on the diagonal, lengths vary more than you might expect, so measure several and use the longest. Then decide how many go in each box and whether they will lie flat or stand on their edges.
Biscotti packed on their edges, leaning against each other, fit more per box and look like a neat row through the window. Biscotti lying flat take up more space but show their cut face, with all the nuts and fruit visible. Either works; the choice depends on the look you want.
Leave only a little extra room. A snug fit protects the tips, while a loose fit lets them slide and snap. If your biscotti vary a lot in size, a card insert with shallow grooves holds each one in place.
If you bake in batches that vary from day to day, measure over a few bakes rather than a single one. A box sized to an unusually short batch will be too tight next week. Building in a couple of millimetres of tolerance avoids that without letting the biscuits rattle around.
Board and Food Contact
Biscotti are dry and low in fat, so they do not need a heavy grease barrier. A folding boxboard with a clean inner surface works well, and kraft board gives a warm, rustic look that suits Italian baking. White board shows colourful branding brightly.
If biscotti touch the board directly, ask for food-contact grade board, which is available on request. Many bakeries also place biscotti in a clear bag or a glassine sleeve inside the box, which keeps them crisp for longer and adds a neat presentation layer when the box is opened.

Printing Custom Biscotti Boxes
Biscotti carry a sense of Italian tradition, but your box does not have to follow a stereotype. A clean, modern design with a single colour and your logo can look just as appealing as a pattern of olive branches. Show the flavour clearly: almond, pistachio, chocolate and orange, or cranberry and white chocolate.
Use the side panels for ingredients, allergens and best-before dates. Nuts are the most common allergen in biscotti, so make the allergen information clear. A short line about how to enjoy them, such as dipping in coffee or dessert wine, gives the buyer a reason to pick up the box.
If you sell several flavours, one box design with a printed flavour panel or a coloured sticker keeps stock simple. Bakeries with larger runs often move to a printed box per flavour.
Selling Biscotti Beside the Coffee Machine
Coffee shops are natural sellers of biscotti because the two go together. A small box of four or six beside the till invites an extra sale with every takeaway coffee. A single biscotti in a slim branded carton can be added to a drink order as a treat. Delis and farm shops place gift boxes near the cheese and wine, where people are buying for a dinner.
For wholesale, a shelf-ready outer carton holding several boxes lets a café put the whole display on the counter in one move. Printing your brand on that outer carton helps the café staff recognise your product and reorder it.
Restaurants with a dessert menu can sell a boxed pack of biscotti to diners who enjoyed them with their coffee. A small stack of boxes by the door, with your restaurant's name on them, turns a final course into a takeaway gift and a reminder to come back.

Biscotti Boxes Questions
What buyers ask before ordering biscotti boxes.
Should biscotti stand on edge or lie flat in the box?
Standing on edge fits more per box and shows a neat row through the window. Lying flat shows the cut face with nuts and fruit. Both protect the biscuits if the fit is snug.
How do I stop the tips breaking?
A snug box and biscotti packed tightly together stop movement. A grooved card insert holds varied sizes in place. Avoid boxes with lots of empty space.
Do biscotti need a grease-resistant box?
Biscotti are dry and low in fat, so a standard folding board usually works. Ask for food-contact grade board if they touch the box directly. Chocolate-dipped biscotti may benefit from an inner bag.
Will a window let biscotti go stale?
A window is covered with clear film, so it does not let air in. For longer freshness, place biscotti in a clear bag or glassine sleeve inside the box. That also adds a neat layer when opened.
Can I use one box for several flavours?
Yes, a printed flavour panel or a coloured sticker lets one box cover your range. It keeps stock simple for smaller bakeries. Larger runs often move to separate designs.
What size box fits six biscotti?
Six standard biscotti standing on edge fit in a box of around 150 x 70 x 50 mm. Measure your longest biscotti first. We adjust the size to your bake.
Can coffee shops sell single biscotti in a box?
Yes, a slim single carton keeps one biscotti clean and branded beside a coffee. A counter display carton holds a row of them. It is an easy add-on sale.
Where should allergen information go?
Allergens are best placed on a side or back panel in clear text. Nuts are the most common allergen in biscotti. You supply the wording and we lay it out.
Can I make gift boxes for dinner parties?
A sleeve and tray or a gable box with a handle feels like a gift. Add ribbon or a printed tag for a finishing touch. Pair it with dessert wine in a hamper if you sell both.
Do you make outer cartons for wholesale?
Yes, shelf-ready outer cartons hold several boxes and open into a counter display. They help cafés stock your product quickly. Printing your brand on them helps with reorders.
