Finishing Touches for Any Box

This range is less about one box style and more about what you add to a box. Printing and inserts apply across every style we make, from mailers to rigid gift boxes, and they are often where packaging goes from adequate to memorable. Each page explains the options in detail; this page shows how they fit together.

Full Print or Logo Only

Full colour printing covers panels with artwork, patterns or photography, inside, outside or both. It suits brands with a strong visual identity and products where the box is part of the experience. Logo printing is the simpler route: one or two colours placed on the lid, an end panel or inside. It costs less, sets up faster and still makes a plain box recognisably yours.

A common route is to start with a logo and add full print later as the brand grows. Because every box is made to order, you can change the print between runs without changing the size or board.

Inserts

Inserts are cut to hold products in place: card trays with holes for bottles, corrugated dividers for jars, foam with cut-outs for electronics and glass. They protect the product and decide how it is presented when the lid opens. Inserts can also let one box size work for different combinations of products.

What Goes Inside the Box

Printing and inserts are only part of how a box is finished. The things packed around the product matter as much. Printed tissue paper with your logo wraps clothing, candles and gifts so the first thing a customer sees is your brand. Paper shred and crinkle fill take up space and stop light items moving. Thank-you cards and stickers close the tissue and give the customer something to keep.

These extras are quoted in the same request as the box, and the free design proof shows each printed item. Ordering them together keeps the colours matched and means one delivery instead of several.

Keeping Extras in Proportion

It is easy to add more than a box needs. Start with the one extra that solves a real problem: an insert if products move, tissue if the box looks empty, a sticker if the tissue needs closing. Add the rest once you know what customers notice.

Weight matters on posted orders. Paper fill and tissue add very little, but a thick foam insert or a heavy card tray can push a parcel into the next courier band. Tell us the products and the service you post with, and we suggest extras that keep the parcel inside its band.
