Custom Branded Tissue Paper
Custom branded tissue paper is the layer a customer touches between opening the box and holding what they bought. Printed with your logo or a repeat pattern, it turns a plain fold of paper into part of the brand and makes even a simple mailer feel considered.

The Small Sheet That Shapes the Unboxing
Think about the last time you opened a parcel from a clothing brand you liked. The box was probably plain or lightly printed, but inside, the garment was folded into soft tissue with the brand name repeated across it, perhaps sealed with a sticker. That moment is when a delivery starts to feel like a purchase from a shop rather than a package off a conveyor.
Tissue does practical work too. It keeps knitwear from snagging on box flaps, stops dyes from transferring between items, holds folds in place and adds a little cushioning around jewellery, candles and ceramics. Printing your branding on it means you get those benefits and a marketing touch for the same sheet.
Because tissue is light and thin, it adds almost nothing to postage, which makes it one of the most cost-effective ways to upgrade an online order. Brands that line the box as well as wrap the product often add a nest of crinkle paper shred in brand colours underneath.
Pattern, Logo or Full Bleed?
There are four broad ways to print branded tissue paper, and the right one depends on your brand and how the sheet will be folded. The same choice between a repeat pattern and a single logo applies to the holographic wrapping paper for gift orders.
- Repeat logo pattern: your logo or wordmark tiled across the sheet at a set spacing. However the tissue is folded, the brand shows. It is also the most forgiving layout, because no fold or crease can hide the brand completely.
- Illustrated pattern: a drawn motif, such as botanicals, lines or shapes, with or without the logo worked in. Good for lifestyle and gift brands that want the tissue to feel like wrapping paper.
- Solid colour with a logo: a coloured sheet with the logo printed in a contrasting ink. Bold and modern, but colour coverage across a whole sheet costs more than a pattern on white.
- Two-sided look: printing on one side of a coloured tissue so the reverse shows a plain tint, which adds depth when the paper is scrunched.

How Printing on Tissue Behaves
Tissue is thin and absorbent, so it does not hold detail in the same way as card. Fine lines, small text and subtle gradients spread slightly as the ink sinks in. We recommend a minimum line thickness of around 1 mm and text no smaller than about 8 pt, roughly 3 mm cap height, for the clearest result. Logos with chunky letterforms reproduce beautifully; delicate script fonts may need thickening.
Most branded tissue is printed in one or two spot colours rather than full colour. Spot inks give a crisp, even result on tissue and are easy to match to your brand Pantone. Metallic inks in gold or silver look striking on black or white tissue and suit premium fashion and jewellery.
Colours on tissue often look a touch softer than on your screen or on printed boxes. If an exact match matters, we can show the closest achievable shade on your free proof and talk you through it. Tape printed in the same ink shade, from our printed packing tape to match, is a good way to carry the colour to the outside of the parcel.
Choosing Sheet Size and Colour
Sheet size should follow the largest item you wrap. A folded T-shirt or a pair of trousers needs a sheet around 500 x 750 mm to wrap fully, while jewellery, cosmetics and candles need far less. Many brands order one standard size and fold it in half for smaller items, which keeps stock simple. Larger sheets are available for coats, bedding and homeware.
White tissue is the most versatile base and makes printed colours brightest. Black tissue with gold, silver or white print feels luxurious. Coloured tissue in pinks, greens or blues ties into a palette and can be paired with a contrasting sticker. Kraft-coloured tissue suits natural and handmade brands.
If you pair deep-coloured tissue with pale garments, test a sheet against the fabric first. Dry tissue behaves well, but a damp hand or a humid parcel can lift a trace of colour from strong shades, and white tissue removes that worry. A printed card slipped into the fold, such as the packaging inserts for online orders, gives the customer something to keep.
Wrapping Techniques That Look Professional
The way staff fold tissue affects how polished your parcels look. A simple method that works for clothing is to lay the garment in the centre of one sheet, fold the long sides over so they overlap by a few centimetres, tuck the ends underneath, then seal the join with a branded sticker. For smaller items, a gathered pouch with the top twisted and held by a sticker or ribbon feels more like a present.
Lining the box with an open sheet before adding the product gives a neat frame, with the tissue edges folded over the top at the end. Two sheets of different colours layered together add a little extra flair for premium orders.
If you train a team or work with a fulfilment centre, a one-page wrapping guide with photos keeps every order consistent. We are happy to suggest a fold that suits your sheet size. The guide to choosing a box style covers which mailer shapes fold tissue most neatly.
Pairing Tissue With Boxes and Stickers
Branded tissue works best as part of a set. A printed mailer box, tissue with a repeat logo and a round sticker to seal it create a clear sequence: outside, wrapping, product. Keep the colours consistent across all three and the parcel looks planned rather than pieced together.
You do not need everything printed at once. Many small brands start with plain kraft mailers and branded tissue, then add a printed box later. The tissue alone does a lot of the work of making an order feel personal.
We can quote mailer boxes, stickers and tissue together, which makes colour matching easier as the proofs are prepared side by side.
Send a Vector Logo and a Fold Test
Tissue is printed from a single flat sheet, but it is seen folded, so the useful thing to do before ordering is a fold test. Take a plain sheet in the size you are considering, wrap the product you send most, and mark with a pen where the logo would show once the parcel is folded. A repeat pattern survives any fold; a single large logo can end up on the underside. That test decides between a pattern and a logo.
Then send the logo as a vector file, the sheet size, the tissue colour and the ink colours you want. A custom quote arrives by email within one working day with minimums set per job, so a brand sending a few hundred parcels a month can order a sensible quantity. The free proof shows the repeat on the full sheet, printing takes 4 to 7 working days after you approve it, and tracked UK mainland delivery is free in 2 to 3 working days. Sheets that arrive marked or misprinted are reprinted or refunded if reported within 10 days. Seal the folded tissue with a matching sticker from the printed thank-you stickers for parcels range.

Branded Tissue Paper Questions
What buyers ask before ordering branded tissue paper.
What is the best design for branded tissue paper?
A repeat logo pattern is the most reliable choice because the brand shows however the sheet is folded. Keep the logo bold and leave enough space between repeats so the pattern breathes.
Can you print full colour photos on tissue paper?
Tissue is absorbent, so photographic images and fine gradients lose detail. Spot colour prints of logos and illustrations give a much cleaner result.
Why does my logo need thicker lines on tissue?
Ink spreads slightly into thin paper. Lines of around 1 mm or more stay crisp, while hairlines can blur or break up.
Can I print gold on black tissue?
Yes. Metallic gold on black is a classic combination for fashion and jewellery. Silver and white inks also work well on dark tissue, and the proof shows how the metallic sits against the sheet colour.
What size tissue sheet do I need for clothing?
A sheet around 500 x 750 mm wraps most folded garments. Coats and heavier knitwear may need a larger sheet.
Will coloured tissue transfer dye onto clothes?
Good quality tissue is colourfast in normal dry use. If garments may be damp, or you sell very pale fabrics, choose white tissue to be safe.
Can tissue paper match my box colours?
We match inks to your brand Pantone. Colours on tissue tend to look slightly softer than on card, and the proof shows the closest achievable shade.
How is the tissue packed?
Sheets are packed flat in reams so they stay crease-free and are easy to pull one at a time at the packing bench.
Can I order tissue with stickers and boxes together?
Yes, and it helps the colours line up. We prepare the proofs side by side and quote the set in one email.
What is the minimum order for branded tissue paper?
Minimums are low and set per job depending on sheet size and colours. Ask for a custom quote and we will give options for small and larger runs.
How long does branded tissue take to arrive?
Allow 4–7 working days to print after proof approval, plus 2–3 working days for free tracked UK mainland delivery.
