Inserts That Hold the Dropper Bottle Safely

A glass bottle rattling in a box sounds cheap and risks a broken dropper. The insert fixes that. A die-cut card cradle grips the bottle neck and base, a foam insert gives a snug cushion with a cut-out shaped to the bottle, and a moulded pulp tray offers a natural look with a firm hold. For gift sets, the insert can have extra cavities for a balm tin, a capsule pot or a small leaflet.

To size the insert we need the bottle height including the dropper cap, the body diameter and the shoulder shape. If the dropper bulb is wider than the body, tell us, as it changes the cut-out. A sample bottle posted to us is the surest route, but clear measurements with a photo usually work.

Glass weight matters for posting, so if your bottles are heavy, a snug insert also stops the bottle hitting the lid when the parcel is dropped. Making Room for the Information Customers Check

Before buying, many CBD customers look for the total CBD per bottle, the strength per drop, the type of extract, the batch number and a way to see the lab analysis for that batch, often a QR code. A premium box should present these clearly without cluttering the front. We usually suggest keeping the front for brand and strength, the back for directions and ingredients, and one side for batch, best-before and the QR code.

Finishes That Suit a Premium CBD Oil Box

Most premium CBD brands lean toward calm, clean design: muted greens, off-whites, deep navy, black and natural textures. Soft-touch lamination gives a velvety feel that customers notice the moment they pick up the box. Foil on the logo or strength figure adds a precise, high-end detail. Embossing raises a logo or leaf motif so it can be felt as well as seen, and spot UV picks out a pattern against a matt background.

Restraint helps. One standout finish, used well, looks more premium than three competing on the same lid.

Inside the lid is often overlooked. A short line about where your hemp is grown, how the oil is made, or how to start using it greets the customer at the exact moment they are most interested. Sizing for Single Bottles and Sets

For a single 30 ml dropper, a tall carton around 45 x 45 x 120 mm is typical, and a rigid box around 70 x 70 x 140 mm leaves space for a padded insert. Sets need wider boxes: a bottle and balm side by side, or three strengths in a row. Plan the insert first and let the box follow, rather than squeezing an insert into a box size picked from a catalogue.

If you sell several strengths in identical bottles, one box size with different coloured artwork per strength keeps setup simple and makes the range easy to read on a shelf.

Think about stacking in shops. Retailers often display CBD oils behind a counter or in a locked cabinet, so a box that stands steadily and shows its strength on the front panel helps staff find the right product quickly when a customer asks. Tell Us Where the Bottle Is Sold Before the Box Is Drawn

CBD oil boxes split on the sales channel more than on the bottle. A dropper sold from a locked pharmacy cabinet wants a heavy tuck carton with the strength large on the front; the same oil in a gift set wants a rigid box that is kept. Say where the box will be seen, then send the bottle height with the dropper cap on, the body diameter and whether the bulb is wider than the body.
