Custom Glitter Stickers That Sparkle in Every Light

from £0.25 a stickerPriced per job · low minimums

Custom glitter stickers are printed on a vinyl with a fine sparkling layer underneath, so your design catches the light every time someone moves it. They turn an ordinary sticker sheet, mailer seal or product label into something people want to keep.

How Glitter Stickers Are Made

The base material is a vinyl with tiny reflective flakes bonded beneath a clear top layer. Because the glitter is sealed in, it does not shed onto hands, envelopes or products the way loose craft glitter does. We print your artwork in colour over this sparkling base, and wherever the ink is light or left unprinted, the glitter shines through most strongly.

That last point shapes the whole design. Dark, solid ink areas hide the sparkle, while pale colours and bare areas let it show. Many of the best glitter stickers use a bold outline and solid text in a dark colour, with large open shapes left to sparkle: a star, a heart, a logo shape, or the letters of a name. If you want the whole sticker to glitter, keep the artwork light and avoid heavy backgrounds.

We can also print a white ink layer under parts of the design to block the glitter, so a face, a photo or small text stays crisp and readable while the rest sparkles around it. For a shifting rainbow rather than a sparkle, see our hologram stickers with a rainbow film.

Choosing a Glitter Effect

Silver glitter is the most versatile because it takes printed colour well: a pink print over silver glitter becomes sparkling pink, a blue becomes sparkling blue. Gold glitter gives a warm effect that suits celebrations, luxury brands and anything with a vintage feel. Holographic glitter splits light into rainbow flecks and is a favourite for children's products, beauty brands and anything playful.

Flake size matters too. Fine glitter looks smooth and elegant from arm's length; chunkier sparkle is louder and more fun close up. If you are torn, order a short run of each and see which your customers pick first.

Lighting changes how glitter looks. Under warm shop spotlights the sparkle is dramatic; in flat daylight it is subtler and the printed colours take over. If your stickers will mostly be seen in photos, a holographic or chunky flake shows up better on camera than very fine glitter, which can look almost matt in a phone picture taken without direct light. Our finish guide shows metallic finishes compared on different base colours.

Shapes, Sheets and Formats

Glitter stickers can be die-cut to any outline, from a simple circle to the exact silhouette of a unicorn, a cupcake or your logo. Kiss-cut sticker sheets group several small designs on one backing, which suits party bag fillers, reward charts and merchandise packs. Individual die-cut stickers suit freebies in parcels and packaging seals.

Roll labels are useful if you apply glitter labels to products in volume, such as candles, cosmetics or sweet jars, because they can be peeled quickly by hand or fed through a label applicator. Tell us how you plan to apply them and we will suggest the format that saves you time.

Where Custom Glitter Stickers Work Best

Small online shops use them to seal tissue paper inside mailer boxes, so the unboxing feels special before the product is even seen. Children's brands put them in party bags and toy packs. Hair accessory, nail and beauty brands use them as product labels that match the sparkle of what they sell. Bakers and sweet makers use them on cake boxes and treat bags for birthdays. Schools, dance clubs and youth groups use them as rewards.

They also work as merchandise in their own right. Artists, illustrators and content creators sell glitter versions of their best designs at a higher price than plain stickers, and fans often collect them.

A practical idea for shops is to rotate a small set of glitter designs, slipping a different one into each order. Repeat customers start to look forward to the next design, and some will share their growing collection online, which brings your name to people who have never ordered from you before. Small sellers often use a glitter circle sticker for sealing bags and tissue.

Durability and Where to Stick Them

Glitter vinyl is tougher than paper. It resists light splashes, survives being handled and peels cleanly from most smooth surfaces. Stickers stay put on laptops, phone cases, notebooks, water bottles, mailer boxes and glass jars. On rough or textured surfaces, such as unfinished kraft board or fabric, adhesion is weaker, so press firmly and let the sticker settle.

The raised texture of glitter means stickers are best on flat or gently curved surfaces. Very tight curves, such as a thin lip balm tube, can make the edges lift over time. Tell us what you are sticking to and we can suggest adhesive strength or a different material if glitter is not the right fit.

Keep unused stickers flat, in their bag, and away from direct sun so the backing paper does not curl and the adhesive stays fresh for when you need them.

Artwork Tips for a Sharp Result

Send vector artwork where possible, such as AI, PDF or SVG files, so edges and text stay crisp. If you only have a high-resolution PNG, that works too. Keep text at a readable size, since very fine lettering can be hard to see against sparkle, and avoid thin hairline outlines that disappear into the glitter.

If your stickers will be given to young children, check the relevant toy and product rules with your adviser before including them in a toy or party pack, and size the stickers sensibly for the age group.

Finally, think about the cut margin. A narrow border of glitter around the outside of a die-cut shape frames the design and hides tiny variations in cutting, so the finished sticker always looks neat. We add this border automatically unless you ask for a tighter cut. Every order includes a free proof showing the white layer so you can see which parts stay solid.

Mark the Areas That Must Not Sparkle

Glitter looks best where it is planned, so before sending artwork decide which areas should sparkle and which should stay solid. Text, faces and fine logo detail usually need a white layer underneath so they stay readable, while backgrounds, borders and bold shapes can carry the full glitter. Send the artwork with those areas marked, or simply tell us, and we prepare the white layer for you. Choose the glitter type by colour: silver takes printed colours well, gold warms everything and holographic shifts with the light. Tell us the surface the stickers will go on, because rough kraft holds less firmly than smooth card, and a die-cut sticker in your logo outline often needs a slightly larger border on glitter film.

Send the artwork, shape, size, glitter type and quantity, and a custom quote comes by email within one working day. The free proof shows which areas sparkle and which are blocked with white. Stickers are made in 4 to 7 working days after approval, arrive by tracked courier to UK mainland addresses, and misprinted or damaged stickers reported within 10 days are reprinted or refunded.

Glitter Stickers Questions

What buyers ask before ordering glitter stickers.

Does the glitter come off on my hands?

No. The glitter is sealed beneath a clear top layer, so it stays put and does not shed onto products or packaging.

Why does my dark design not sparkle much?

Dark solid ink hides the glitter underneath. Lighter colours and unprinted areas let the sparkle show, which the proof will indicate.

Can I keep text readable on glitter?

Yes, we can print a white layer under text and faces to block the glitter there. The rest of the design still sparkles.

Which glitter takes colour best?

Silver glitter is the most flexible because printed colours tint it. Gold gives a warm cast, and holographic adds rainbow flecks.

Will glitter stickers stick to kraft mailer boxes?

They stick, but rough kraft holds less firmly than smooth board. Press firmly and let them settle, or ask about a stronger adhesive.

Can you cut stickers to the outline of my logo?

Yes, die-cutting follows any outline. Send vector artwork so the cut line is accurate.

Are sticker sheets available with several designs?

Yes, kiss-cut sheets hold several designs on one backing, which suits party bags and merchandise.

Can I label candles or jars with glitter stickers?

Yes, as roll labels or individual stickers. They suit flat or gently curved surfaces best.

Can I sell glitter versions of my art?

Many artists do. Glitter stickers sit well alongside plain ones as a premium option.

How fast can a new design be ready for a pop-up shop?

For glitter stickers, the free proof comes first; after approval we produce in 4–7 working days and deliver free and tracked to the UK mainland in 2–3 working days.

What if the cut line is off?

Report any misprinted or damaged stickers within 10 days and we will reprint or refund them.
