Measure the filled pack, not the flat wipes. A pack of wipes bulges in the middle, and if the carton is cut to the edges only, it will be tight to fill and bow outwards once closed. We usually add a few millimetres on width and depth and slightly more on height so the pack slides in without catching.

If you sell more than one count, such as a travel pack and a full-size pack, it is worth keeping the same printed design and changing only the depth. Board, Print and Finishes

Folding boxboard in a mid weight suits nearly every wipes carton. White-backed board gives the cleanest result for soft pastels, which can look muddy on a grey-backed sheet. Kraft board works for brands with a natural, plant-based story, and it takes a single dark ink very well.

Full colour printing covers the outside, and we can add a second print on the inside flap for a short note to parents or usage tips. A matt or soft-touch lamination feels gentle in the hand and resists the damp fingerprints a changing area produces. Gloss is better if your design relies on bright, saturated colour. Spot gloss or a light emboss on the logo adds a touch of quality without fuss.

Getting the Dispensing Opening Right

A dispenser opening has to be easy for a parent with one free hand, yet strong enough not to tear open in a delivery van. We use a perforated panel that holds firm until it is pressed, then lifts away cleanly. The opening sits over the resealable label on your soft pack, so the wipes keep their moisture while the carton guides them out.

Opening size matters. Too wide and several wipes come out at once; too narrow and the sheet tears. We match the slot to the fold of your wipes, and the free proof shows exactly where it sits on the artwork so text is never cut through. Feeding bottles have a similar tear-open requirement, and the baby bottle cartons use the same perforation pattern.

Front Panels, Back Panels and Product Photos

Wipes are usually bought in a hurry, often with a baby on one arm. The front panel therefore needs to say three things at a glance: what the product is, how many wipes are inside and what makes it different, whether that is a water-based formula, a fragrance-free blend or an extra-thick sheet. Everything else can move to the sides and back.

Online, the carton becomes your main product image. A box photographs far better than a soft pack because it has straight edges, flat panels and a clear front. Brands selling through marketplaces often order a short run purely for photography and samples before committing to full stock, and our low minimums make that practical.

Colour also helps a range hang together. Giving each variant its own accent, such as a sensitive formula in one shade and a fragranced version in another, lets parents find their usual choice quickly while the logo and layout stay constant.

Wipes cartons carry a lot of small print. Plan space for the product name, the count, the main benefits, the ingredient list, usage directions, a batch code area and a barcode. The back panel usually takes the detail while the front and top stay clean and easy to read from a distance.

Leave a plain area where your filling line or a hand stamp can mark the batch and best-before information. Keep the barcode on a flat panel away from folds, with a white background behind it, so scanners read it first time. Keeping the hero photo consistent with your baby bib packaging helps the range read as one family on a pharmacy shelf.

Send a Filled Pack, Not Just the Dimensions

Wipes packs are soft, and a soft pack changes shape when it is squeezed into a carton, so measurements from a spec sheet are rarely enough. Post us one filled pack, or at least measure a pack at its fattest point with the lid closed and note how much it compresses under a hand. We size the carton so the pack slides in without creasing the lid film, then set the dispensing opening to clear the flip-top rather than cutting through it.
