Custom Influencer Mailer Boxes

from £0.25 a boxPriced per job · low minimums

Custom influencer mailer boxes are built for one moment: the creator lifting the lid on camera. We print them inside and out, fit inserts that show each product in its place and make sure the box still survives the post on the way there.

Packaging Made for the Unboxing, Not the Warehouse

A standard shipping box is made to be cut open and thrown away. An influencer mailer is made to be filmed. The creator will turn it in their hands, show the outside, open it slowly and talk through what they find. Every surface the camera sees, from the lid print to the inside flap to the way products sit in the insert, becomes part of your content.

That changes what you pay attention to. Print quality on the inside matters as much as the outside. The opening action needs to be smooth, with no tape to fight and no tearing board. And the layout of the products inside should tell a small story, with the hero item in the centre and supporting pieces around it.

Choosing a Style of Influencer Mailer Box

The most popular construction is a roll end tuck front mailer in corrugated board. It locks shut without tape, opens with a satisfying lift and is strong enough to go through the post on its own. Brands that want a heavier, more luxurious feel choose a rigid box with a magnetic lid, then ship it inside a plain outer carton to protect the finish.

For larger seeding drops, such as a full skincare routine or a capsule clothing collection, a deeper mailer with a two-tier insert lets you layer products. A lift-out top tray reveals a second layer underneath, which gives the creator a second moment of surprise on camera.

  • Corrugated tuck front mailers for direct posting
  • Rigid magnetic boxes for premium launches, sent in an outer shipper
  • Two-tier mailers with a lift-out tray
  • Slim mailers that fit through a letterbox for single products

Inserts That Frame Each Product

Without an insert, products slide to one corner in transit and the box opens to a jumble. A die-cut card insert holds each item in its own cut-out so that the layout looks exactly as you planned, every time. Card inserts can be printed with short labels, such as step one, step two, so the creator knows what each item is without reading a leaflet.

Foam inserts give tighter protection for glass bottles and fragile items, and they can be covered with a printed card top. A simple card shelf with a finger notch is enough for flat items like palettes or phone accessories. Send us samples or exact product sizes so the cut-outs are snug; a loose cut-out is almost as bad as none.

Print That Holds Up on Camera

Cameras exaggerate flaws. A colour that is slightly off, a smudge of ink on a fold or a pale print on brown board can all look worse on a phone screen than in your hand. Full colour print on white-lined board gives the most reliable result, and printing the inside in a solid brand colour creates a strong reveal when the lid opens.

Keep messages on the inside lid short and readable from a distance, because the camera is usually a metre away. A first line such as made for you or a short welcome note works better than a paragraph. Matt lamination reduces glare from ring lights, which is something creators notice even if you do not. Foil and spot gloss catch light nicely on video, so use them for the logo rather than large areas.

Planning a Seeding Campaign Around the Box

Most seeding campaigns go out in waves, and each wave may include slightly different products. A single box size with interchangeable inserts gives you flexibility without reprinting the outer box. Personal touches such as a hand-signed card or a name sticker on the inside flap make a creator far more likely to feature the box, and they cost very little to add at packing time.

Keep a few spare boxes and inserts back from every run. Creators sometimes receive a damaged parcel, a new name gets added to your list at short notice, or a product is reformulated and needs to go out again. Having spares on hand means you can respond the same day rather than waiting for a reprint.

Think about what happens after the video, too. A box that is good enough to keep, for storing makeup or accessories, stays on a creator's shelf and sometimes appears in later content. Sturdy board and a clean inside finish make that more likely. Boxes that creators keep and reuse are the idea behind our influencer boxes with a lift-off lid.

Getting the Size Right for Postage and Presentation

A box that is too big for its contents looks empty on camera and costs more to send. A box that is too tight crushes the insert and makes products hard to lift out. Lay your products out on a table in the arrangement you want the creator to see, measure the footprint and the tallest item, then add room for the insert walls and any tissue or shred you plan to use.

Postage bands are worth checking before you settle on a size. Dropping a few millimetres of depth can move a parcel into a cheaper band, which adds up quickly across a long creator list. If a single product is going out, a slim letterbox mailer avoids failed deliveries and missed parcels, which matters when the creator is travelling or works from a studio.

Weight also counts. Rigid boxes with magnetic closures feel wonderful but weigh noticeably more than corrugated mailers, and that extra weight is paid for on every parcel. Many brands keep rigid boxes for their top tier of creators and send a printed corrugated mailer to everyone else, using the same artwork so the campaign still looks consistent. Studios seeding a game launch use the same split on our game PR boxes for press kits page.

Lay the Products Out as the Camera Will See Them

Start with the arrangement, not the box. Put the products on a table in the order the creator should find them, hero item in the centre, photograph it from above with a ruler in shot, and measure the footprint and the tallest item. Then decide how the box travels: a corrugated tuck front mailer posts on its own, a rigid magnetic box needs a plain outer, and a single product fits a letterbox mailer.

Send the photo, the contents list, the posting method, the campaign date and your creator count with a few spares, and a custom quote comes back by email within one working day, with minimums quoted per job. The free proof shows the outside, the inside flood and the insert. Production takes 4–7 working days after approval and tracked delivery to UK mainland addresses is free, taking 2–3 working days; allow packing time before the send date. Dented or misprinted boxes reported within 10 days are reprinted or refunded. Top-tier creators often get the heavier rigid PR boxes with a magnetic lid in the same artwork.

Influencer Mailer Boxes Questions

What buyers ask before ordering influencer mailer boxes.

Can the box go through the post without an outer carton?

A corrugated tuck front mailer is strong enough to post as it is. Rigid magnetic boxes should be sent inside a plain shipper so the printed wrap is not scuffed.

Is printing the inside worth it?

For influencer seeding, yes. The inside is what appears on camera when the lid opens, and a solid colour or short message makes a much stronger reveal.

How do I stop products moving around in transit?

Use a die-cut card or foam insert with a cut-out for each item. We need exact product sizes or samples so each cut-out holds snugly.

Can I change the contents between campaign waves?

Keep one outer box and swap the insert. Ordering a few insert layouts for the same box size is cheaper than reprinting the whole box each time.

Which finish works best on video?

Matt or soft-touch lamination reduces ring light glare. Use foil or spot gloss on the logo where you want a flash of shine.

Can each box be addressed to a specific creator?

The simplest way is a printed name sticker or card added at packing. It keeps the main print run identical while still feeling personal.

What is a two-tier mailer?

It is a deeper box with a lift-out tray. The top layer is revealed first, then the tray comes out to show a second layer, which gives two moments on camera.

How small a run can I order for a seeding list?

Minimums are quoted per job, so a short run for a small creator list is often possible. Tell us the quantity when you ask for a custom quote.

Can I add tissue paper or shred?

Yes. Printed tissue, crinkle paper and welcome cards can all be supplied with the boxes so everything arrives together.

When should I order for a campaign launch date?

Allow time for the proof, 4 to 7 working days of production, 2 to 3 working days of free tracked UK mainland delivery and your own packing time. Working backwards from your send date avoids a rush.

What if a box arrives dented?

Tell us within 10 days of delivery with a photo. We reprint or refund any boxes damaged in transit or misprinted.
