Custom Bracelet Display Boxes

from £0.25 a boxPriced per job · low minimums

Custom bracelet display boxes hold a bracelet wrapped around a soft cushion, so it sits in the shape it is worn and catches the light the moment the lid opens. Jewellery shops and makers use them on the counter, in the window and as the gift box the customer takes home.

Showing a Bracelet the Way It Is Worn

Bracelets look their worst lying flat. A chain collapses into a tangle, a bangle rolls around, and a beaded stretch bracelet loses its circle. A display box solves this with a cushion or pillow insert that the bracelet wraps around, holding it in a natural curve with the clasp hidden underneath and the best side facing up.

That presentation matters at every stage. In a shop, a row of open display boxes lets customers compare designs without staff handling every piece. In a photograph for your website or social media, a bracelet curved round a cushion reads instantly as jewellery. And when the customer opens the box at home, or opens it as a gift, the bracelet looks exactly as it did in the shop window.

A well-made box also protects. The cushion stops the bracelet moving, so links and stones do not scratch against each other or the lid, and the closed box keeps dust and moisture away from silver that tarnishes easily. Pieces sold without a pillow, such as simple chains, often go in cotton-filled jewellery boxes instead.

Box Formats for Bracelets and Bangles

The most popular format is a hinged or two-piece box with a slotted pillow insert. The pillow is a soft, covered roll that sits in a slot; the bracelet goes around it, and the pillow drops back into the box. It suits chain bracelets, charm bracelets and beaded designs of most sizes.

Bangles and cuffs need a different insert, often a raised platform with a slot that holds the rigid ring upright, or a wider cushion they rest against. Watches and smart bracelets can share the same format with a larger pillow. Long boxes with a flat insert and an elastic band or slits suit tennis bracelets and delicate chains that look better laid in a gentle curve.

Lid styles range from simple lift-off lids to magnetic flaps and drawer boxes that slide out of a sleeve, each giving a slightly different opening moment. The three lid actions are drawn side by side in our guide to choosing a box style.

Getting the Pillow Size Right

The pillow should match the inside circumference of the bracelet when closed, so it sits snugly without stretching. For most adult bracelets, a pillow of around 50 to 60 mm long with a matching height suits average wrist sizes. Children's bracelets need a smaller pillow, and men's chain bracelets usually need a slightly larger one.

If you sell adjustable bracelets, size the pillow to the middle of the range so the bracelet sits neatly without sliding off. For a collection with very different sizes, it is often better to order two pillow sizes in the same outer box than to compromise on one.

A photo of each bracelet style wrapped around a ruler or a rolled tape measure helps us check the pillow fit. The same measurements let us size a plainer bracelet box without a display insert for online orders.

Materials, Coverings and Colour

Outer boxes are usually made from rigid board wrapped in printed or coloured paper, which gives a solid, quality feel, or from thick folding card for lighter, more affordable options. Paper coverings come in matt, textured and leatherette-effect finishes, and can be printed in your brand colour or a pattern.

Inside, the pillow and the base lining are often covered in velvet, suede-effect fabric or a soft card. Dark linings like black, navy and deep green make silver and diamonds shine; ivory, blush and grey flatter gold and rose gold. Choose the lining to suit your most popular metal, then match the outer box to your brand.

A foil-blocked logo on the lid in gold, silver or rose gold is the classic finishing touch. A printed or foiled logo inside the lid is also popular, so the brand is seen at the moment the box opens.

For smaller budgets, a printed folding card box with a card pillow wrapped in fabric-effect paper gives much of the same look at a lower cost. It suits fashion bracelets, market stalls and online sellers posting high volumes, and it still holds the bracelet in its worn shape. Rings and earrings for the same collection can use jewellery boxes in the same wrap so the counter matches.

Counter Display and Window Merchandising

Display boxes are often left open on a counter or in a window. In that case, choose a lid that stays upright when opened, such as a hinged lid with a stop, so the box looks tidy in a row. A lid printed or lined inside becomes a backdrop that frames the bracelet.

Some shops order a display set of open boxes in a single colour for the window and a matching closed box in the same style for the customer to take home. This keeps the display consistent while using the more affordable closed box for sales.

Think about lighting as well. Glossy linings reflect shop spotlights and can glare in photos, so matt velvet or suede-effect fabric is usually the safer choice for window displays and product photography. Keep a few spare pillows behind the counter, as they are the part customers handle most and the first to show wear on a busy display. Our comparison of foil and lamination finishes helps when choosing a lid that will sit under spotlights.

Jewellers Who Use Bracelet Display Boxes

High-street and independent jewellers use them for counter displays and gift boxes. Jewellery makers selling online use them to make their pieces look professional in product photos and to give customers a proper gift experience. Charm bracelet brands use them for starter bracelets that will be added to over time.

Watch shops use larger versions for smart bracelets and straps, and fashion accessory brands use them for beaded and friendship bracelets sold as gifts. Wedding jewellery makers use them for bridesmaid gifts, often with names printed inside the lid. The rest of the fashion and accessory packaging range covers scarves, watches and belts sold alongside.

Send a Wrist Measurement, Not a Guess

The pillow is the part that makes or breaks a bracelet box, so give us the inside circumference of your closed bracelets rather than a box size. Lay each style around a rolled tape measure, note where the clasp meets, and photograph it; a 180 mm chain and a 210 mm men's curb bracelet need different pillows even if they share the 90 x 90 mm box. For bangles, send the inside diameter instead, because they sit on a slotted platform rather than a roll.

Choose the lining before the outer colour, since the lining is what the customer sees against the metal. Send the quantity, a vector logo and the lid style, and a custom quote comes back by email within one working day, with minimums set per job. The free proof shows the box, the lining colour and where the foil sits. Production takes 4–7 working days after approval and tracked delivery to UK mainland addresses is free and takes 2–3 working days. Marked or misprinted boxes reported within 10 days are reprinted or refunded. If the range includes pendants, the matching necklace boxes with a hook insert can share the same wrap.

Bracelet Display Boxes Questions

What buyers ask before ordering bracelet display boxes.

What size pillow do I need for my bracelets?

Match the pillow to the inside circumference of the closed bracelet. Most adult bracelets fit a pillow of around 50 to 60 mm long.

Can the same box hold bangles?

Bangles usually need a slotted platform or a wider cushion rather than a pillow. We can make both inserts for the same outer box.

What lining colour is best for silver jewellery?

Dark linings like black, navy or deep green give silver and stones strong contrast. Lighter linings such as ivory, blush and grey flatter gold and rose gold.

Can my logo be foiled on the lid?

Yes, gold, silver and rose gold foil are the most popular. A logo inside the lid can be added too.

Will the lid stay open for counter display?

Hinged lids can be made to stay upright when opened, which keeps rows of display boxes looking tidy. Ask for the stop hinge when you request the quote so it is built into the construction.

Are display boxes suitable as gift boxes?

Yes. Most jewellers use the same box for display and as the gift box customers take home.

Can you make long boxes for tennis bracelets?

Yes, long boxes with a flat insert and slits hold tennis bracelets and fine chains in a gentle curve. The 220 x 50 x 25 mm long box in our size table is the usual starting point.

Can names be printed inside the lid for bridesmaids?

Yes, names and a short message can be printed inside the lid, which is popular for wedding gifts. Each name is a small artwork change, so send the list with the spelling checked.

Do the boxes protect silver from tarnishing?

A closed box keeps out dust and limits air, which helps. For extra protection, many jewellers add an anti-tarnish strip inside.

Can I have twelve bridesmaid boxes ready a month before the wedding?

Yes. Production takes 4–7 working days after you approve the free proof and tracked delivery to UK mainland addresses takes 2–3 working days, so a month gives comfortable room for the names to be checked twice. Rigid boxes arrive built and ready to fill.

What is the smallest order you take?

Minimums are low and quoted per job, so a maker launching one bracelet design can order a modest run. Tell us the box style and quantity and the custom quote comes back by email within one working day.
